Cuinant ... Barcelona (II)

Anyway, it was not premeditated, but I just realized that this same weekend last year I spent all Sunday in the kitchen, as today. Surely it was raining. Today I knew that was going to be a gray day, I noticed Florenci on Friday, so I yesterday, in anticipation, I went shopping to get ready to spend the rainy autumn day between fires, the best plan.

menu last year was pizza, hummus and apple pie , and today, parecidillo: escudella, soup outside Catalonia kamut bread, the wheat variety oldest known and one of specialties richest in the best bakery in Barcelona, Barcelona Reykjavik, spinach pie, the recipe for Pepa, with raisins, bacon, egg and olives, the olives that I picked up a couple of weeks and not be Capbocs ready to within two months, and orange marmalade, which is seasonal.

And as a button:)

For Indeed, to return to one of my favorite subjects today the club has played against Real Madrid, the Catalans have won, and tomorrow each other will not talk about something else, as they say in the Brown and Francine (and as I ever repeated here), thank goodness we have football in times of crisis ... n'importe quoi ...

PREHISPANIC AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY IN THE LAKE BASIN PROBLEMS TITICACA

Sponsored by the Alliance Française, the IRD, and the League of IFEA Arqueologíaa of La Paz, Tuesday September 1 presents the talk entitled:

Technology
prehispanic water management in the area of Jesus de Machaca.

Preliminary results presented by archaeologists
Lemuz Carlos Aguirre (UMSA - SALP) and John W. Janusek (Vanderbilt University - SALP)
The event will take place in the halls of the Alliance Française from 19:30, admission is free

The presentation outlines a framework for cultural development ideological and social, preliminarily interpreted from regional studies in the area of Jesus de Machaca and intensive and extensive excavations carried out in the monumental settlements Wankaner, on which we examine issues related to the use and management of resources, particularly water, through the study of the features in the landscape made by ancient pre-Hispanic people, who used tanks to capture and artificially constructed water supply - in a planned way - bound for subsistence and economic activities in parts, high, dry and sandy in the northern sector Jacha Jawira River.

TIWANAKU JAVIER triggering the departure of ESCALANTE AND DAVID Aruquipa TO TOP OF ARCHAEOLOGY AND HERITAGE IN THE BOLIVIAN GOVERNMENT

signals giving Groux, are important, but rather late. The internship, which begins today in the position of Director of the UNAR, fears that the cure may be worse than the disease

The crisis in the management of archaeological research at Tiwanaku, the evidence of negligence and technical administritiva mnejo in the Archaeological Museum of Tiwanaku, deficiencies in the work of researchers the UNAR and a series of complaints and claims promoted the removal of Archaeologist Javier Escalante and irrevocable resignation of David Aruquipa to the Heritage of the Ministry of Culture.
As a remedy, apparently temporary crisis, Groux appointed as Acting Director of the UNAR, Pablo Rendon, an archaeologist who was busy today so Acting (for over two years!) the post of Director of National Museum of Archaeology, in giving this a sign of great concern to the archaeological community that demands the institutionalization of this post, very sensitive to the fate of Bolivian Archaeology .
Beyond changes in staff UNAR, this institution requires a restructuring core for taking over the responsibilities of public policy development for the protection and conservation of archaeological heritage and guide changes in management national, departmental, municipal and regional archaeological and practice archaeological site in Bolivia.

TIWANAKU MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ASSUMES THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR INVESTIGATIONS TAKING PLACE AND Putuni

Municipal Government Tiwanaku has taken the decision to take responsibility for investigations and Putuni Akapana archaeological site of Tiwanaku monumental, since the Venezuelan endowment fund is under administration Municipal Government of Tiwanaku. In this sense, the team of archaeologists hired temporarily under the designation of the National Archaeological Unit was leaving the service and launched an open call through CICOES (organ procurement and distribution of state tenders), the product of which was contracted a new group of archaeologists and rehired a majority of the researchers, who until a month ago, were working under the umbrella of the National Archaeological Unit (UNAR). The fact was interpreted - by those responsible for this distribution - as a forced retreat and an infringement of their prerogatives with respect to control and direct intervention for several years been making in various sectors of the site, something that was openly questioned by the archaeological community to La Paz for violating constitutional law (Constitution of the State), Administrative Decentralization Law, the Law of Popular Participation and the Municipalities Act the Regulation of Archaeological Excavations in Bolivia.

After a conciliation meeting between the city of Tiwanaku and the Ministry of Culture decided to start a technical and financial audit in respect of statements made by the UNAR in Tiwanaku and reassess the candidates recruited by the Municipal Government Tiwanaku, in the context of extra-legal committee that would have formed with the participation of the Board of traditional farming neighbors and authorities in the region, which suspected Adolesce of legal anomalies, since there is a clear procedure dictated by the subsystem Procurement of Goods and Services Act 1178 for such cases, that in no case include duties or responsibilities to individuals or corporations outside the institution.
The truth is that Tiwanaku - for some time - have been taking place a series of arbitrary actions and harmful to the national heritage, passing through the site taken by the City of Tiwanaku (several years), the political intervention of the rural communities and the abusive and irresponsible management of the National Archaeological Unit and the Vice Ministry of Cultures.

a site being declared a National Monument and Cultural Heritage of Humanity, custody and administration should be handled by the Prefecture of La Paz, under the supervision and guidance of the Ministry of Culture and the UNAR, who in no way would be eligible for direct research assistance on site, but from strictly specialized institutions created for that purpose, such as the Universidad Mayor de San Andres and the different museums Archaeological sites that have authority for such actions.

The Ministry of Culture and the UNAR were created to lead and manage the national political culture and archaeological heritage, respectively, not to get in a feud that attracts a lot of money and whose management - widely desired - led in the past immediate, discretionary and inefficient management of funds raised from international cooperation for research and tourism development.

Tieanaku If GM wants to take charge of the archaeological investigation at the site, you must adhere to the law, discuss this with the Prefecture of La Paz (which has powers laws about this), to assess their technical, human, material and financial and establish a clear process of skills transfer, in which the UNAR and the Ministry of Culture can not be released from his responsibilities on the past administration of archaeological assets site.

Where To Purchase Koleston

I just got an email from Amnesty International part of the "Demand dignity "which have been launched in an attempt to eradicate global poverty that violates human rights of much of the world population. It seems so right that just copy and paste, difundámoslo.

" If your income is one or two dollars a day you say you are poor, but your rights may be even less if nobody bothers to calculate. You have no right to housing, because it forcibly evicted from which you have always lived for a multi-exploit natural resources at home. You have no right to health, because your baby dies of a small complication in delivery. Your sons and daughters have no right to education because they can not go school.

To report this, where you claim?, Who listens?
The economic crisis that focuses the attention and efforts of governments, is compounding what was already an explosive human rights crisis. Therefore, together with its annual report that makes data and faces to this crisis, Amnesty International has launched Demand Dignity. Our challenge is to break the cycle of lack of participation, exclusion and injustice to the people that have left governments in the gutter to violate their human rights obligations. Because poverty is not inevitable: it is a result of policies and practices concrete.

We urge the G-20 countries which have proclaimed leaders to address the economic crisis, which put human rights at the heart of his leadership. If you have been able to coordinate and raise untold sums to revive the economy, why not put the same effort to meet its responsibility to the rights of the 963 million hungry people or 1000 million living in slums ?

sharpeners

And, as expected, won the club last night, they do good and they're all hungover ... Yo, that a bona Xiqueta Sóc , I went to bed soon, in today I rise with the sun and continue my morning ritual: I make breakfast and I drink the coffee at the balcony. And in those passing sharpener, a little guy uploaded through the streets on a motorcycle carrying a sharpening stone and whistles to announce their arrival a little music of the kind that gives grim.

It's amazing that at this point there are still nomads in Barcelona sharpeners, anyone could have imagined they would have disappeared years ago that would have left the streets to rent a localcillo, or would have gone directly to that figure, since to shop at home sharpeners sold, but no, here they are for us to come to mind these hangovers summering in the village of your father, when he came the grinder and you wake up with the twang grimoso and you put the pillow over not to hear, even risk of dying soaked in sweat ... What majos sharpener and it is great to continue here!

Per Sq Foot Cost For Retaining Wall

resemble what football and the European elections?

They should take about ten minutes into the game and I guess the mess that the club has scored the first goal. It promises fun night, I with the leg stiff in my chair, his back to the balcony to take the last rays of light, trying to read / write / whatever-it-is and shouting like hooligans pseudo blaugrana calves. And if they win, do you want more, or die of heat and close the windows or put up with me screaming ... And for more

inri we campaign for European elections ... soporific campaign. Mayor Oreja, says Tim P., is a real crock with a fascist stop worrying and spunky is listless, what we're going to cheat ...

The fact is that we are dealing with two events, football and elections should be the subject of celebration, and here I am that grumpy, with a desire to spend ... Gentlemen, if a victim of embarrassment, this is a time sooo hard.

Football passions move, I know, and say they're happy to millions of little characters, and even booted me a smile / tears / emotion in the past, but what does that mean now lose all their value . The fact that it has become a market that rises to the players to the category heroes despite their ignorance and that they charge so many idiots will not get together in life together, corruption and others, makes him a despicable activity. And now we are in crisis , oh, have I been me? Yes, yes, he started saying De la Morena SER in every morning (which pissed me almost as much as listening to Jimenez Losantos), and now has added to the Francino (I say that soon I will have to consider changing Station ...), that if "god we have to Barca this season, is playing so well, you go out and see that people are happy despite the crisis, even those not like football ...". This is thrilling, and a string of nonsense that I have listened to the two in recent months, really, I'm the "lesser evil" and "despite" ...

Y, asynchronous, to fix it, we have to MEPs at stake, ole, will in the rest of Europe, because we are arguing about the flu, corruption and little more, well, all very homely, which are European, but we get on with it, which cool more. And what difference does that leave one another, both played exactly the liberal capitalist system itself that is loading the world. Neither says anything about the poverty in the world, the excesses committed in the North, wasteful consumption that we sell every day, "despite the crisis, the environment, resource scarcity energy ... In short, neither raises a paradigm shift, and that I would say we have amply demonstrated that this does not work. Yes, there is a hope, or at least one new option that at times I quite agree, the anti-capitalist left, at least the representative of Barcelona, Esther Vivas is on every evening parties and protest campaigns supported social action promoted in Barcelona. Basically pretend that the people and the environment are the center of everything and in doing so, it is necessary to end capitalism, which is the source of all our ills. If you read the program convinced you sure, now, that sounds more or less utopian depends on your good mood ... I so want to believe, but there is much work ahead.

Eah that Barca win or lose, you win or lose Mayor Oreja, as we did not mobilize, friends, we will stay the same. All the street, but not just shouting slogans footballing, pussy to see if we also speak out, we increasingly worse and we are carried away by the current. I'm going to the street with my crutches, will find out ... hehe.

AKAPANA INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SEMINAR IN RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONS

TRAINING EVENT THAT THE RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND ANTHROPOLOGICAL WAS THE NEED
UMSA
With great tact, San Andrés University through its Vice-chancellor The DIPGIS and support of the National Academy of Sciences is organizing a seminar on Intellectual Property which addressed issues such as intellectual property rights in the international arena and in Bolivia, the rights and Adjusting for copyright, patents, resources genetic and scientific publications.

There is a real need to orient the whole archaeological community university (of all grades of instruction), because plagiarism and infringement overlapping (and often open) has become standard practice, mainly due to the vicious practice of outsourcing that many researchers (contractors) "strategically located "and endowed with the required level, are students, alumni and even professional title, which makes them develop research in return for meager emonumentos, appropriating everything work and stripping them of all their rights over their own intellectual production .

Similarly, with Internet development and publishing of digital goods, the college students (and in many cases teachers) use and abuse of these publications to produce reports, essays, articles and even theses based on collages obtained without any respect for copyright.

San Andrés University, through its headquarters and staff career, should adopt a tough policy towards such practices, so that in future there is a clear awareness of professional respect for the intellectual, and evaluating - in its proper dimension - the creative efforts of those who produce and disseminate scientific research and develop an intellectual product.

DEVELOPMENT OF KNOWLEDGE AND The need to review old interpretations "Boliviano" ARCHAEOLOGY IN A SHOP CALLED

The case of Bolivian peer-reviewed research that reinterpret the findings of the tomb of Niñokorin (Bautista Saavedra Province, La Paz)

Last February The Museum of World Cultures in the city of Gothenburg (in Swedish Världskulturmuseet) invited two researchers from the Bolivian Institute of Traditional Medicine Kallawaya: Carmen Beatriz Loza and Walter Alvarez Quispe to conduct research on archaeological material remains found decades ago in the tomb of Niñokorin (Northeast of Lake Titicaca region of Charazani). This museum is one of the largest in Sweden and his vocation is analogous to the Smithsonian Museum of Washington (USA) and the recently opened Musée du quai Branly in Paris.
Carmen B. Dishes and Walter Alvarez - researchers expert in indigenous medicines - made a technical analysis of the famous archaeological Tiwanaku found in Bautista Saavedra Province in 1970, from the so-called "tomb of Niñokorin" where they found evidence of medical technology, spatulas, tubes, enemas, baskets to hold plants, dosing spoons, medicinal plants among others.

Bolivian
According to these researchers, the objects - very well preserved - belonged to an adult male who suffered trepanations kallawaya craniocerebral to have survived. His objects are technical tools that were not covered at all by other researchers (Wassen 1972, Torres 1986, Llagostera 1996), who published work on this important finding, and others of similar composition located in the region of Tiwanaku influence or in areas that affect their contact areas. Preliminary results of work carried Loza and Alvarez radically reject many of the findings disseminated in archeology "Bolivia" hallucinogenic complex that considers all material associated with the well known "snuff tables"
With this work, and in an exemplary manner, and Walter Alvarez Beatriz Loza show that much of the findings, interpretations and conclusions from old - and still Recent archaeological work - to be reassessed and contrasted in the light of further analysis as it considers necessary local knowledge and the critical approach. How To Congratulate On Marriage

TIWANAKU

have recently been released several actions (projects) to be launched at the archaeological site of Tiwanaku , including mention of a new excavation phase Akapana , and initiation of new excavation and conservation Putuni and next phase was excavated in the area Kantatayita as part of a group of interventions that the Ministry of Culture has plans to carry this year within the archaeological theme ( Samaipata , Moxos , etc.), which is highly remarkable and necessary. However, these initiatives launched under the new Ministry status for the national body responsible for cultural policy suffers from the same defects observed the former Vice development Cultures their predecessors, and particularly the national Archaeology Unit ( UNAR), which can not be run directly archaeological intervention actions, but to instruct agencies specializing in this topic to do so, their role should be limited to planning, advocacy, outreach and policy development for the archeology and cultural heritage. Again
hundreds of thousands of petrodollars , money from international cooperation (UNESCO ) and the state will be set forth in these actions, without any obligation or security for the Bolivians about the quality of results and transparency resource management.

There are too many doubts, fears and questions regarding the suitability of these new interventions, especially because they never were acquitted of the comments made at earlier stages of Akapana and criminals interventions implemented in Pumapunku . Today we continue to encourage mass excavation, without the professional staff that allows the standard and continues to fill bags of artifacts (without analysis) the deposits of the Archaeological Museum of Tiwanaku .

is necessary that the Ministry and the UNAR fix these errors and broadcast, both community specializing in archeology and the public in general, the content of the projects they want to implement, its objectives, its methodology, the criteria which will measure their results, resources to be used, control mechanisms and specialized monitoring that and other components used to ensure minimum success and good management.

We know that money (which is good, but also gives a lot of fear) and there is the promise of increased funds for these purposes (which is very pleased the Minister and his officials), but we see no signs of CHANGE, or that there is a genuine commitment to make things right. We need the Minister and the UNAR displayed greater democratic openness to carry out these works (there are no tenders or calls, only see the old traditional dedazo ), the characters in charge (of money and interventions) are the same , whoever the incumbent government ( Banzer, Tuto , Goni, Meza, Belz or Evo), which is not consistent with what is stated in political speeches. We need a new structure for the archaeologists in this ministry and also new people (including archaeologists, cultural managers, anthropologists, lawyers, curators and administrators) to change the face of traditional archeology of the last century. This may not be a big warranty, but it does not bring hope to continue taking the same bitter drink that until now have served us. The same complaint goes for those who manage some of the money involved as the Mayor of Tiwanaku and the Prefecture of La Paz, which must meet their legal responsibilities to the archaeological heritage in the most serious and professional as possible.

Society and government must take action before we have to make us regret for new cases of corruption that involved are new, old, fat and lean fish ( isp ' is , qharachis , suches or umantos ) of the State, Social Movements or university.

Wedding Invitation Humerous Wording

MISSION UNESCO TIWANAKU VISITED THE HOME TO GIVE AN OTHER BUSINESS

Between 25 and 28 February, the Program Specialist Alcira Sandoval Ruiz World Heritage Centre of UNESCO visited La Paz to coordinate with the Vice-Cultural Development (Now Ministry of Culture), Universities, Archaeological Society of La Paz, Tiwanaku Municipal Government, Traditional Authorities and other stakeholders, the start of a project to direct the tasks in an improvised manner has been implementing since 3 Tiwanaku years. The Project's main components: a) The technical and financial assistance for the preparation of a Site Management Plan b) The implementation of a plan to train workers and to intervene appropriately arqueoólogos site; c) The equipment of laboratories and field crews and d) Developing a Conservation Plan Puerta del Sol

One of the comments raised by the UNESCO commission which visited the archaeological site in 2006 was that the work is done under the minimum standards required of a site for Cultural Heritage of Humanity, among them that those involved in archaeological work are archaeologists profecional license to practice. In this sense, there was a formal commitment from the Ministry of professionalizing technical controls and train project managers and skilled workers in the excavation. This was an ongoing demand of the Society of Archaeology, which never received the attention of relevant authorities (VMC and UNAR), since the interventions were made by staff without sufficient qualification to make this work.
The commission visited Tiwanaku and listened to all stakeholders, while explaining the purpose, components and project schedule. Among the components of the commission were in addition to the authorized representative of UNESCO, the Arql. Marcos Michel, nacionl recently appointed coordinator to oversee this project, the representative of the Embassy of Japan, Mireya Muñoz Arch (ICOMOS), Arch Freddy Rivero (VMC), The Architect Jimmy Ledezma (UMSA), The Arql. José Luis Paz (SALP), the Arql. Carlos Lemuz (SALP) and Javier Escalante and Edward Arqls couple of UNAR.

is expected that the first actions of the project, which has a diración three years, starting in about two months. Carlos Lemuz http://arqueobolivia.blogspot.com

Stop Breakthrough Bleeding Double Up Pill

A new world is possible

Barack Obama

Ramoneda just said in that time 25 that we get with Obama and say that's not going to change anything we are a cynical and we're hoping to make the slightest mistake to criticize.

Far from reality, I admired sr. Ramoneda. I want a President Obama revolutionary in the traditional sense of the term, but I would doubt the change and evidence I refer. Obama may have ideals and a laudable ambition, but no longer the President of the USA and watch as all his predecessors for the sake of the interests, economic, of their country.

the same way that back in 2004 when he was about to Aznar and Zapatero arrived, many were saying that nothing could be worse than that and that Zapatero undoubtedly would mean a change more than necessary. Slightly more than four years later, I, for some reason, I remain confident in the goodwill of our President, but I would call into question (again I refer to the tests) the work of a person who has in his hand lead to the final no significant change consequences. In this sense there is a double parallel with the English elections in 2004 and 2008 U.S.: first, the promise of change and, secondly, it can be considered a success simply because they disappear from the political scene as two elements unspeakable are "Ansar" and Bush.

However, sr. Zapatero, along with all of their ilk who have gathered in separate meetings in recent months, could have done something (and I still can) to reverse the fucking global financial system is drowning more than two thirds of the population world. The sr. Zapatero has signed
FAD credits . The sr. Zapatero still negotiating lucrative contracts for the English multinationals to the detriment of the interests of more than one Latin American country. The sr. Zapatero will cut taxes as a shock to the crisis and which has given the banks raised sunk without requiring any compensation. Ultimately, the best interests of sr. Zapatero, as prime minister, is to improve the English economy, as Obama will be the U.S. economy.

You do have to admit one thing, and it is a historic moment that a black man to reach the U.S. presidency But hopefully it is not in pure anecdote, as in many other examples and that repeat, and that blacks and Hispanics reach the upper echelons of politics, business, and ordinary black people can live on equal terms. Although not forget that, as experts said during the primaries infinite in the U.S., had been a major revolution that had been elected a black woman, because society is more sexist than racist or elitist.

The issue is that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, and the first world does not understand (and here we ordinary citizens, it Yes, you and me) for us to consume at the rate we do, two-thirds of the world's population live in precarious conditions, to say the least. And I do not give me in the nose or Zapatero Obama will do nothing to change the situation, so sr. Ramos, I'm not sure why I have to get my hopes today, well I would. Ergo, people, we have to do our part to mobilize, complain and demand justice and equity. Do not wash your hands, it is the responsibility of all change the world.

Festa Major de Sant Antoni

Barrio Sant Antoni, Barcelona
Poster Festa Major de Sant Antoni (I know not what year) This

Friday, January 16 begin the festivities in my neighborhood, Sant Antoni, and will last until Sunday 25 January. Sant Antoni is a nice neighborhood as a neighborhood really, loads of people on the street, fabric all kinds of little shops, a market and we deserve and mecadillo / flea market Sunday. Moreover, the fact that it is part of the Eixample and is Pegaditas the Chinese, gives a very special look.

Of the parties I can not say much, because I have not completed one year in the neighborhood, so I'm first-, but looking good, there is a good mix of street movidillas: music as concerts, bailecillos typical, cinema, theater and even a career is to keep in shape. And it sounds to me that there are imps throw and throw fire crackers, mu 'Valencia the thing, what illusion. Check out the program the festival of Sant Antoni and if you dare maybe we are there.

ROUND DRAFT FOR Wiñaymarka FOUNDATION: THE TRANSFER OF THE SUN DOOR

Not content with having destroyed Pumapunku, the Foundation Wiñaymarka with the approval of the Deputy Minister of Development Cultures attempts to perform the delicate work to move the Puerta del Sol on the basis of an improvised project, prepared by people who do not have enough experience (except for having promoted the destruction of Pumapunku) technically challenged that, at all costs, try to validate it with the local authorities of Tiwanaku.

To top it off, wish to post as Director of this work to a subject that has no legal license to practice as an archaeologist, whose training and experience do not qualify for this type of work (except the wrist, sponsorship or favor of any officer of the UNAR). Even the most experienced archaeologists from Bolivia would have the audacity to take - this way - a delicate job, for training in archaeological research is primarily, not structural, mechanical, resistance or monumental body dynamics. This work should have specialists in conservation of stone monuments (such as Tiwanaku), structural, mechanical, etc. give the support needed to avoid damaging the door and ensure that their conservation will be comparatively better than if it were practiced in situ.

I have had opportunity to read a version of "project" and I called attention to its technical and conceptual shortcomings, in addition to the weakness of his argument. It is necessary that those who claim to be $ 100,000 spent on the job, has a part to hire more qualified staff to meet, regardless of their origin, as false nationalism and chauvinism could lead to similar results to those obtained in Akapana and Pumapunku, marked today by professional improvisation and institutional irresponsibility of the State to its most important archaeological monuments.
the VMC authorities and must call a UNAR-depth technical discussion with all stakeholders in order to arrive at the most appropriate solution to the Puerta del Sol, Tiwanaku, the Bolivian state and people, which is ultimately the legal owner of this heritage.
