The presentation outlines a framework for cultural development ideological and social, preliminarily interpreted from regional studies in the area of \u200b\u200bJesus de Machaca and intensive and extensive excavations carried out in the monumental settlements Wankaner, on which we examine issues related to the use and management of resources, particularly water, through the study of the features in the landscape made by ancient pre-Hispanic people, who used tanks to capture and artificially constructed water supply - in a planned way - bound for subsistence and economic activities in parts, high, dry and sandy in the northern sector Jacha Jawira River.
